Celebrate Heritage Week 2016 in Mount Pleasant’s Heritage Heart!

The area around the triangle block has become affectionately known as the Heritage Heart by the community.  Created by the intersecting of Kingsway, originally an ancient indigenous and animal trail, Main Street, formerly Westminster Avenue and 7th Avenue, this was the hub from which Old Mount Pleasant Village developed.  From this unique intersection at the crest of the hill, Mount Pleasant grew into Vancouver’s first suburb.
